Aladaria has a lot of nothing, but they know how to use it. The economy is primarily based on staple agricultural exports to Averlea.
‘Small’ quantities of Yew are sold to Livarian merchants.
Aladaria is the second largest producer grapes and thus the second largest exporter of wine in Faridar. Aladarians are very sensitive when it comes to their wine, so don’t make the mistake of pointing out that Rouxian wine has been consistently favored above theirs throughout Sorol every year since the beginning of Recorded Civilization.
The only unique product of Aladaria would be their lobsters. They are only found in Ainswater Bay and they differ from all other species known throughout Sorol in the sense that they have two large pincers, are fully covered in a deep red shell, and commonly exceed 50 pounds in weight.
As the front, and back, door to Averlea, Aladaira hosts more Gospel personnel than any other nation. Templar are constantly conducting exercises in the northern reaches of the country and high ranking priests, along with their retinue, commonly visit Ainsbridge when they need to “get away”. This, combined with large food exports to Averlea, has the effect of redistributing wealth from the rest of Faridar; making Aladarians surprisingly wealthy per capita.
